The London Borough of Enfield (LBE) and Haringey (LBH) is introducing a selective licensing scheme across parts of the borough, which applies to various privately rented homes.
At present, this scheme only applies to the designated areas (Please see link below) but may widen to other boroughs in the future.

Selective Licence
What does this mean
The designation makes it compulsory for all private rented properties in these wards to have a license, and it is the landlord’s responsibility to obtain this. If your property does not fall in one of the specified areas, you are not required to apply.
Cost of the License
Valid for 5 years, the cost of the license is for Enfield £673.80 | Haringey £600.00 and is payable in two parts, paid directly to LBE | LBH
When submitting your application, you must be able to provide the following:
– Full floor plans with room sizing in m²
– Owners’ details
– Mortgage details
– All safety certifications
– Front & rear photos
– All tenant details & agreements
Our Fee
For a fee of £395 + VAT, we can provide all floor plans and relevant documentation to support your application. Please note, this is in addition to the £673.80 license fee, paid to LBE.
